David and I got a date night for his birthday!!
We were going to go to a movie but instead decided to go CHEAP.
We did go out to eat, but then we found a beautiful park in Knoxville
and went walking and talking.
It was perfect.
David loves showing the kids funny videos on the ipad.
I love that I caught them laughing.
(well, Emily was in a bad mood so she didn't think it was funny. ha!)
This is the perfect card my parents got David for his birthday.
The inside said, "unfortunately your wife spent it all growing up."
ha!
I'm about halfway through this book right now and I love it.
I really, really love his writing...think I will look for more books by this author!

And I was so excited that I went ahead and created my title page for 2013.
Yesterday they were calling for snow in the afternoon...
so that morning - after days of heavy rain and FLOODING in our area,
we read our favorite snow books,
did the snow dance...
and waited. :)

Snow covered branches is one of my favorite winter sights.
We even had enough for SNOW CREAM!!
Yay for snow and date night! We do a lot of snow dancing here in Washington state, too!
