Beautiful Bibles! {review & give away!}

I received a box in the mail the other day with the most LOVELY things in it...and I get to share a bit of the joy with one of you!

I will be the first to tell you that I am a bit picky about my Bibles. When I get a new one, it is a very big deal. A very special thing for me...because for the next few years, I will be reading, looking at, praying through, taking notes in, highlighting and talking to God with my Bible. It has to be the perfect one for me. :) And yes, I have found not-so-perfect ones for me before and end up looking for another one just a few days later. {side note: we are so, so blessed to have such easy access to God's precious Word here in our country, after being in a communist country, I do not take this lightly!!}

When I look for a new Bible, I want it to be a version that I can understand. (My favorite is still NIV.) I want it to have room for me to at least write a few words in the margins. I want the print to not be SO tiny that I find I need glasses after purchasing it. But, I also kind of want the cover to be pretty. I'm going to be looking at it (and in it) a whole lot after all!!

So, when I received these Bibles in the mail from Zondervan I was VERY excited!! My kids wondered what I was squealing about when I opened this package on my bed the other day!!

Zondervan is about to release a new line of Bibles, Style Line Bibles, and they are more colorful and fashionable! The pictures in this post show some of the examples of what you will find in this new line.

I have actually had my eye on this NIV Busy Mom's Bible! There are devotions scattered throughout this Bible and you can choose from 1 minute, 5 minute or 10 minute depending on just HOW busy you are that particular day. I'm excited about this one!
